ROSSELLA PEZZINO DE GERONIMO
Chaos Liquido
The pandemic firstly taught us that we must be prepared to change our plans at any moment. The world does not follow a predictable pattern, so during our life we have to accept chaos, a space left to chance, a sea of confusion inside and outside us, where it is almost impossible to predict the effect of certain events.
The unpredictable and the uncontrollable are always around us. The flapping of a butterfly’s wings can provoke a hurricane on the other side of the world.
But it is even true that chaos and disorder are a source of creativity, innovation and rebirth. Life is born from emptiness, from the Big Bang, and therefore one cannot exist without the other, there cannot be light without darkness, order without chaos. Order is the basis of what we believe works but, if taken to the extreme, it leads to limitation, rigidity and lack of life; disorder is essential to our growth, to our rebirth, to the awareness that we are human beings with as yet unexplored powers.
