It feels like observing another world. Instead, it is our everyday life under the acute gaze of the well-known Chinese artist who, driven by a deep curiosity, observes public and private spaces and the various individuals he passes on the street. Fleeting moments he captures just as if life were illuminated by the light of a stage, dense with every emotion. Encounters become precious inexplicable coincidences wrapped in the ghostly atmosphere of gigantic, grotesque glittering environments. A quest that finds the extraordinary in the ordinary.

BIO

Feng Li (Chengdu, 1971) is a well-known Chinese artist. He won the Prix Découverte Award from the 2017 Jimei x Arles International Photography Season, Best Photographer Prize at Jinan International Photo Biennale 2012 and Grand Jury Prize at Lianzhou Photo Festival 2012. He’s also participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions around the world since 2007 including Festival Les Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles, BredaPhoto Festival, Galerie f16- Paris, Buchkunst Berlin, China Anren Biennale, etc

He cooperates with international fashion organizations, British System, Re-Edition, Vogue British, FAZ and many others.
